The Netacea + TollBit Integration is Now Live
We’re excited to announce our new integration with Netacea, the Bot and Agent Trust Management company for commerce and content. Together, we’re helping website owners enforce access rules and unlock new revenue streams from the surging amount of AI bot traffic hitting their sites.
TollBit is continuing to expand its ecosystem, partnering and integrating with cybersecurity tools and CDNs, to deliver a fully tech-agnostic solution that plugs into any existing stack.
Why this matters
By the end of 2025, websites on the TollBit network were seeing one AI bot visit for every 31 human visits. At the start of that same year, the ratio was 1 in 200. AI bot and agent traffic to sites continues to grow at a rapid pace.
Thirty years of the internet were powered by people going to websites, seeing ads, buying things, and subscribing. If people stop going to websites and bots go on their behalf, that equation falls apart.
These AI bots increasingly scrape content to access up-to-date information and generate answers. Website owners are facing growing infrastructure strain, content commoditization, and have limited visibility into how their content is being accessed.
Site owners need a solution that gives them:
- Clear rules for how AI models access their content
- Visibility into who is consuming it
- Compensation when AI systems extract value
The Netacea–TollBit integration leverages the power of Netacea’s market-leading Bot and Agent Trust Management solution to connect real-time detection with a structured commercial pathway. Netacea provides advanced bot detection. TollBit manages the agent authentication, programmatic licensing, and monetization. Together, your content stays under your control.
What you will get access to
TollBit Analytics
A clear picture of which bots and agents are accessing your content:
- Which bots are hitting your site, and how often
- Which pages they are scraping
- How many human visitors they send back, via referral data
- Whether bots are following your robots.txt
Agent Site
Control over access by redirecting bot traffic to a separate site built for agents. Once agents are there, every request becomes a decision: allow, block, or charge. Those controls are granular:
- Set access rules bot by bot
- Filter out content you do not want exposed
- Let only allowed bots through
- Serve Markdown and other formats built for AI bots rather than pages built for people
Monetization
You set your rates and terms, and developers access content at scale under those terms. The TollBit Bot Paywall enforces those rules on the agent site.
What this means for Netacea customers
Once TollBit is activated you can:
- Redirect verified AI traffic to a TollBit Agent Site instead of blocking it outright
- Set content access terms and pricing
- Convert AI scraping into sanctioned, paid access
Together with Netacea we are putting the power back in the site owners’ hands and they can determine whether to allow, block, or charge every bot that tries to access their site content.

The Data Acquisition Stack Scraping Your Site
By Q4 2025, publishers on the TollBit network were seeing one AI bot visit for every 31 human visits. At the start of that same year, the ratio was 1 in 200. The growth is obvious enough. What's less visible is how the scraping actually works, and why the tools most publishers rely on to stop it are structurally inadequate.

What OpenAI’s App SDK means for publishers
OpenAI’s recent Dev Day marked a major shift in how people—and AI agents—interact with information online. The company unveiled ChatGPT Apps, a new way for developers to build interactive experiences that run directly inside ChatGPT. These apps are powered by the new Apps SDK and built on top of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that defines how AI systems connect to external data and services.
